Ron Harris
Founder/ CEO A Level Up, Inc.
Through difficult challenges in his childhood and teen years in inner city St.Petersburg, Florida Ron overcame family tragedy, personal setbacks playing college football, doubt, and fear, enabling him to realize his dreams. His life story awakens the dreams of students in his audience. Ron's passion, humor, and hope has inspired and challenged thousands of young people annually for over 20 years. He desires the next generation of young people to overcome their greatest obstacles and achieve success in life.
Ron Harris, travels globally speaking to businesses, schools, conventions, youth gatherings, and churches on character and life skills development. He is also heading up a new and exciting project called The Destiny Center. This is a perfect project for Ron who has been dedicated to serving in youth leadership development for over 14 years extensively in Washington County.
Ron has also been a leadership coach for high school, college and professional athletes, providing extensive consulting to athletes in the areas of character, life skill development and multi-cultural issues.
An adjunct professor at Ecclesia College for three years, Ron teaches courses in cultural diversity and is also a national trainer and consultant for the Laurie Beth Jones Group - a leadership development company.
In the 1990s Ron worked with Arkansas Athletes Outreach at University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas helping to produce one of the most innovative multi-school district projects called “Champions of Character” which impacted 5,000 school-aged children per month.
In addition, Ron believes in giving back to the community and does so by serving on several boards, such as the Northwest Arkansas Gang Task Force, the local Juvenile Detention Center, Youth Bridge, and as a chaplain for the Washington County jail system - donating his time to underprivileged troubled teens that need help.
