Leadership Development
Leadership University is dedicated to developing “Next Level” leaders through promoting personal responsibility, character enrichment, and the importance of servant leadership.
Each Leadership University participant will:
- Be guided in the process of understanding their personal temperament, gifts and talents.
- Be guided through a proven assessment program that will help evaluate and map out their career based on passion, mission, and long-term goals.
- Be interviewed and placed with strategic non - profit organizations or high profile corporations that will give them "real life" experience in their given field of interest.
This character based program will help them enter their field of interest within the marketplace with sense personal morals, integrity, and values that will guide them for a life time.
Core concepts
- Leadership is not an event, but a process.
- Leaders create followers.
- Leaders create and need change.
- Leaders with strong value systems have tremendous impact.
Major Components
- In class training and character development.
- Practical application of prayer principles in your given area of interest.
- Practical interaction with top business leaders that have global influence.
- Participating in-group projects that will be centered around our specific job/vocation.
Domestic and Foreign Service Projects
Each student-leader will be provided the opportunity to help provide humanitarian aid to impoverished areas and will be trained to lead some portion of the service project.
Mentoring
Each student will be mentored by a business/community leader. Each student will have a weekly “check-in” meeting to ensure persistent growth and health.
Career Tracks
- Community Leader – Dealing with youth, specifically youth development.
- Business – Any person dealing with medicine and good services.
- Arts – Dance, graphics, music, creative writing, beginning film editing.
- Teachers – Those who will be involved in educating 5k-12
